Who we are
This policy covers frugent.net and the Frugent account and browser automation service. Contact gaetanjuvin@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Account and sign-in information
We store your account name, email, verification status, account identifiers and authentication records to provide and secure your account. Email accounts use password hashes. Google sign-in provides your Google identifier, name, email, verification status and, when supplied, profile picture. Google sign-in is used for authentication; it does not grant Frugent access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files.
Browser tasks and the Action Map Registry
Local execution runs in your connected browser on your machine. Local does not mean that all task information stays on your machine: instructions, website origins, page snapshots, task arguments, results and execution metadata may pass through Frugent and the assistant or model providers you choose to carry out a task. Page snapshots can include visible text and existing field values. Do not submit secrets or sensitive information that you do not want processed by those services.
Frugent stores account-scoped task records and reusable execution data to run workflows, show results and reduce repeated planning. Cached plans or extracted results can contain private content. Private task data is not automatically published into the shared Action Map Registry. Shared contributions require a separate contribution and operator review. The assistant and websites you use have their own privacy policies.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes payment details and subscriptions. Frugent stores customer and subscription references, plan, status and billing events; card entry is handled by Stripe. Resend delivers account verification and recovery emails. Render hosts the application and its data services, Cloudflare provides domain services, and Google provides optional sign-in. These providers process information needed for their service.
Analytics and browser storage
Optional visit analytics is off until you allow it. When allowed, Frugent sends PostHog a random visitor identifier, page paths, referral host, campaign tags and selected interactions. After sign-in, that visitor identifier may be linked to your account identifier. We do not send task instructions, page contents, passwords or email addresses in these analytics events. Session replay is disabled.
Account and service lifecycle events, such as account creation, verification, browser connection, first successful run and subscription changes, are recorded separately and sent to PostHog using account identifiers. These service events do not depend on the optional visit-analytics choice.
Essential cookies and browser storage support sign-in, security and your selected plan. Optional local storage holds your analytics preference, visitor identifier and acquisition information. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to withdraw optional analytics consent. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track prevent optional browser analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future optional events; it does not automatically delete previously received records.
Use, disclosure and security
We use information to operate and secure Frugent, deliver support, administer subscriptions and understand service use. We disclose it to the providers described above, when you direct us to interact with a website or assistant, and where required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information or provide it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. We use access controls and transport encryption; no system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your requests
We retain information while needed to provide the service, maintain security, handle support and satisfy legal or accounting obligations. Cache expiry varies by integration; expiry of a cache entry does not delete all related account, task, analytics or backup records. There is no single automatic deletion period covering all records.
Email gaetanjuvin@gmail.com to request access, correction, account closure or deletion of your information. We verify requests before acting and explain any information that must be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes. You can revoke assistant or browser connections in the app and remove Google access in your Google Account. Revoking access does not itself delete your Frugent account.
Children and policy changes
Frugent is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We post policy changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where required.
